Hello girls,
I am so lucky to have the bestest friend-bloggers in the world, and in the last few weeks I received 4 (!!) nominations for the Liebster Award!!

So all my love and gratitude go back to

Ella Rose from Ella Rose Crown

Nikki and Rachel from Precious Wonders

Francesca from EffStar Beauty

Amy from Chic Beauty

I already got nominated twice last winter, so here is my first Liebster Award post from back then :-) Liebster Award - Emily's and Rachel's Questions

As I explained in my first post, the Liebster Award is not a real award, it's just a way to show love and support to other bloggers by "nominating" them :-)

Again, I feel that answering all 11 questions from all 4 nominations would be too much?
So I will pick some questions from each nomination, also depending on the most asked and previously answered ones.

1. What is the one item you wish you had? (Ella Rose)
A pair of Louboutin heels ^_^

2. Who is your style icon? (Ella Rose and Amy)
Brigitte Bardot.
And Donatella Versace - her long sleek platinum blonde hair, her blacker than black smokey eyes with nude lips and natural barely there brows against the current eyebrows-are-life trend, in her Versace gowns, OMG that's so me, except for the Versace gowns part ^_^
And the 90s supermodels.

3. What is your dream job and does it have anything to do with your blogging interests? (Ella Rose)
My dream job is my job, flight attendant :-)
So no, technically it has got nothing to do with my blogging interests.
But travelling all the time gives me access to make up and skincare and fashion brands that would otherwise be out of my reach haha :-D

4. How would you describe your personal style? (Nikki & Rachel)
You're most likely to see me in a tank top, black leggings, and rubber flip flops from Abercrombie or Hollister during the day, and a skintight dress and stilettos at night.

5. No eyebrows or no eyelashes? (Nikki & Rachel)
Hahahaaa deffff no eyebrows!!!! Eyelashes and mascara are life, if you ask me!!!

6. My top favourite make up product (Nikki & Rachel, Francesca and Amy)
Yes, you, L'Oreal Lumi Magique (True Match Lumi) foundation in DW3 Gold Linen.
You changed my life and made me a more beautiful person with a more glowy, and more yellow-toned, and more tanned skin.
It's me and you, together with Dior Bronze Self Tanner in Natural Glow, forever against the paleness, and the matte-ness, and the pink-tones.

7. My summer beauty must haves (Francesca and Amy)
  1. Hydrating serum to keep my skin well hydrated with a product rich in water and active ingredients, and my favourite is Apivita Natural Serum in Hydration, you can read my review here Apivita Natural Serum - Hydration
  2. A shimmery bronze eyeshadow
  3. An orangy lipstick. I have only really started loving them and wearing them this year, so I have many new blogposts about them How to make orange lipstick work for pale blondes / Iggy Azalea inspired make up , My Mac neon orange look + dupes , Mac Lady Danger
8. If you could give one beauty tip, what would it be? (Francesca)
B L E N D Y O U R E Y E S H A D O W.

9. Biggest beauty blunder? (Francesca)
Not blending my eyeshadow hahaha!!!
Yes I admit that once upon a time I committed a few crimes of non-blending myself :-D
My blending game changed dramatically when the YouTube videos of Sam and Nic Chapman aka Pixiwoo introduced me to Mac 217 brush.
The best brush of ALL. TIME. No other brush like this one.

10. What's your favourite high street shop?
H&M. I go at least weekly, wherever in the world I am.

11. What's your favourite perfume?
The One from Dolce & Gabbana.
When I was younger it was Blonde from Versace, but it was later discontinued :( When I smelled their new fragrance Vanitas it reminded me of it <3

And now the girls whose beauty blogs have <200 followers that I nominate for the Liebster Award and ask to answer the same questions I answered are

Ada from Adaatude

Annika from HoSt - Home of Style

Dee from Deeegotts

Elin from Elin Fagerberg

Holly from Holly Dolly 88

Louise from The Beauty Vine

Marlene from Marlenes Blog

MyOwnLoves from My Own Loves

Eiffel Tower

Hello beautiful girls!!
This post is very special to me, because I am going to share with you my pictures from a beautiful day I spent in Paris *_*
And there will be a surprise at the end!!

Louvre Museum

The locations don't need an explanation, words wouldn't do them justice :)
I had already been many times in all of these places, but a city like Paris, you can never go enough times.
Each time, Paris will cast a new spell on you.

Dress from H&MH&M France - H&M Italia - H&M EspaƱa
Bag from Fendi
Shoes are Kathryn sandals from Aldo, you can see them up close here My Boho Glam OOTD Wearing Gisele's Dress

Moulin Rouge

L'Oreal Lumi Magique (True Match Lumi) foundation in DW3 Gold Linen, applied with my Real Techniques stippling brush
Mac Pro Longwear concealer in NC30
Clinique Line Smoothing concealer in 02 Light
Kiko False Lashes Concentrate Building Base mascara
L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara
Sleek Face Form in Medium for eyeshadow, contouring, bronzing and highlighting :-D
Mac Honeylove lipstick, one of my July favourites here July Favourites + Mac Dupe!
Maybelline Coffee Craze lipstick, another one of my July favourites - it is a little more sheer and glossy than Honeylove, so I applied it on top of it to give it more of a sheen

[picture of make up products coming soon]

At night I went to the Eiffel Tower.
This was my first time being there at night, and seeing it all lit up against the black sky, under the moonlight.
Honestly, I have no words.
The most breathtaking and magnificent thing I have ever seen in my life.
As I walked out of Trocadero metro station, I will never forget the moment I saw what I saw.
I couldn't walk, I couldn't talk, I couldn't think. I could just stand and stare.
I doubt anything else I will see in my life will ever top that sight.
I don't even know for how long I stood there frozen, just staring.

Tour Eiffel

And as I evetually turned around to walk away, I suddenly heard everybody scream.
I turned back again and :-OOOOO
The Eiffel Tower had just been brought to life by thousands of sparkling lights like a Christmas tree.
The regular night lighting had been switched off and there were only the sparkling lights.

I learned this happens every night for 5 minutes every hour, on the hour.
I had no idea, I was so lucky to be there in that moment. We can say - the right person in the right place at the right hour!! :)

I recorded a video of it to share with you guys :)
I can't upload it on here but it's on my Instagram, so if you haven't seen it yet please go to @mjintheskywithglitter !

And now the surprise I promised you ^_^

My girl @bali_wanderlust (Instagram name) has posted my interview on her blog, featuring me as her #TOTD (Traveler Of The Day), her new project!!
She's amazing and I am a long time follower of her Instagram and blog, I was so touched when she asked me if she could feature me <3

This picture below belongs to the interview, it's me in Paris when I was 3 years old and last month :)

If you would like to read it, please go to Dobe Globe - #TOTD MJ In The Sky With Glitter

Thank you friends for having now shared this day with me by reading my post <3
I hope you are having a beautiful August, I hug you all

Mac Kelly Osbourne collection

Hello beautiful girls!!

This is what I got from the new Mac Kelly Osbourne collection!! (I didn't pick up anything from the Sharon collection)

Jolly Good Mineralize Skinfinish - if my face was its natural colour, these would be like my custom-made contouring and highlighting shades.
But we all know that my skin is nowhere near its natural colour because I regularly self-tan haha, so these become more blushing/highlighting shades for me.
And I can't even explain, see how cool toned, almost taupy and ashy they are?
When applied on tanned skin, while "ashy" wouldn't normally be considered as a good look, like I said I can NOT explain how beautiful this product in fact looks.
It creates this unique pinky-taupy cheekbone that looks DIVINE.
I don't know if it's because it connects to the white of the eye, and they brighten each other up?
Or because I have blue eyes maybe it connects to the blue of my eyes?
I have no idea, all I can say is that if you still have the chance to try Jolly Good you have to try it on yourself, and see how it "reacts" against your skin and your own colours.
It might be wrong for you or it might be right, but if it's right I promise it will be VERY right.

(in the picture below, the first swatch is both shades blended, then the darker shade, then the lighter shade)

In Synch lip pencil - it's a yellow pink and it's part of the permanent line

Riot House lipstick - had you ever seen a true apricot lipstick?? I hadn't!! It's sooo pretty!!!
To be realistic, unfortunately I don't think it would be ideal on medium to dark skin tones, but the paler the skin the most beautiful this is going to look!!
It has a matte finish.

Dodgy Girl lipstick - this is hands down the most beautiful piece of the collection. It is a very unique true lavender, such an unexpected twist from our usual cool pink!!
Again, I believe the paler the skin the more flattering it will look.
It has a matte finish too.

Mac Kelly Osbourne collection - from L to R: Jolly Good, In Synch, Riot House, Dodgy Girl

And now some dupes I have found for you!! <3

L: Mac Riot House - R: I Heart Makeup Dream About Success

Mac Riot House - I Heart Makeup "Dream About Success" (from new UK brand Makeup Revolution)
Unfortunately these two don't swatch as similar as they look in the bullet, but that's the best I could come up with in the new unexplored apricot shade territory :(
But if you really wanted to get Riot House and missed on it, I think Dream About Success is the most yellow a pink can get before turning into a true apricot, so why not start from there :)
I promise I will keep searching and I will let you know if I find more similar dupes!! <3

L: Mac Dodgy Girl - R: Mac Asian Flower

Mac Dodgy Girl - Mac Asian Flower
The finish is different because Dodgy Girl is matte, while Asian Flower from their Sheen Supreme line is more sheer and glossy.
But again, if you missed out on Dodgy Girl, the shade is pretty much identical, and Asian Flower is always available because it is a permanent product.
If you want to have more coverage from Asian Flower, you can apply a more opaque cool pink lipstick first, and then put Asian Flower on top to mute the cool pink and turn it into a lavender :)

Girls I hope this post was helpful!!
If you would like to see more dupes from Mac lipsticks I have found, please check out

Enjoy your weekend!

My July favourites

Hello girls,
here are my favourite make up products from July!!

Mac Lady Danger lipstick and Mac Cheeky Bronze Mineralize Skinfinish - I already wrote an entire blogpost about them, with swatches and picture of the look that a Mac make up artist created on me with them, so you can find everything you want to know here Plastic Cheekbones in Milan Wearing New Mac MSF!! :-)

Kiko Street Glam palette 01 - you know that my go-to look is a smokey eye, so I love that this small compact has a black, a brown, a purple, a blue and a green, all at their darkest, very pigmented and easily blendable , to create a basic smokey eye with the brown or the black, and then if I want to, mute it with the purple, the blue or the green.
I got it on sale last month and it's been with me in my handbag at all times ever since.

Maybelline Tantalizing Taupe and Coffee Craze lipsticks - if you follow me on Instagram, you know that in all of my most recent looks I have been wearing 90s-inspired brown toned nude lipsticks.
Maybelline with their Stripped Nudes lipstick collection has been my main enabler, and these have been my favourite and most worn shades (Coffee Craze first from right, Tantalizing Taupe second from right)
This is the first 90s inspired look I created here on the blog The 90s - Supermodels and Madonna inspired make up look ^_^

Mac Honeylove lipstick - another brown toned beige nude, this one with a matte finish (the Maybelline lipsticks have a satin finish)

And Honeylove is my monthly favourite I have found a dupe for to show you!
It is NYC Expert Last Lip Colour lipstick in 440 Creamy Caramel, slightly cooler toned and not as matte as Honeylove, but still very comparable!

I hope August has been a beautiful month for you so far!!
I'll talk to you later ;-)

Kiko 3D Instant Volume Lipglosses

Girls I just got these new Kiko 3D Instant Volume lipglosses and I couldn't wait to tell you about them!!
They are my new favourites!!
I know it sounds a little early to say "favourite", but I have and have tried so many make up products that I can tell pretty quick if I like something or not, and how much I like it.

These lipglosses are some of the most glossy and glass-like I have ever seen :-O

They glide on your lips like paint and are super smooth.
Their texture is not thick, but you can feel that their formula is very rich.
They are not sticky (I don't mind sticky lipglosses, but I know that most girls hate them).
They have a delicate minty taste that will make your lips tingle.
And look at the pigmentation, just incredible for lipglosses!

And they really give your lips the most mirror-like 3D shine, girls I'm in love!!

For maximum plastic effect my advice is you apply one coat first, and rub your lips together, to sort of create a base.
Then apply a second coat, and don't rub your lips anymore ;)

They come in 21 shades and I'll show you which ones I got:

204 Pearly Calypso Rose - a yellow-based pink with silver and gold shimmer
206 Guava Rose - a warm pink a little more intense than 204
214 Mauve - a mauvy grape shade
216 Pearly Hazelnut - my favourite and probably most unique shade, a beautiful brown with pink and gold shimmer, so perfect for my 90s-in-2000 looks, I don't know how I will handle my emotions the first time I'll create a look with it :-O
217 Natural Rose - a nude pink that everybody will love and wear for the rest of their lives

I hope this was helpful, girls I totally recommend you give these a try next time you go to Kiko, I am sure you will agree with me on all points!!

Now if you want to see my last monthy favourites, please go to June Favourites + Mac dupe!

Shine bright like diamonds <3
